William P. Nutton Jr's Obituary
William P. Nutton Jr, 64, of Methuen passed away on September 23, 2018 surrounded by his devoted family at Massachusetts General Hospital. Born on August 23, 1954 and raised in Methuen, he was the son to William P. Nutton Sr and the late Louise (Murach) Nutton. William attended the Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School graduating with the Class of 1972. He worked as a machinist for MKS Industries for over 20 years until his retirement. William was a proud family man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a hardworking man who loved classic cars, his 1940 Ford that he restored, and going to the races. William touched many lives in many different circles and will fondly be cherished, loved and missed by all.
William is survived by his father William P. Nutton Sr, of Methuen and his three sons; Christopher Nutton of Alabama, Timothy Nutton and his wife Patricia of Methuen, and Robert Nutton and his wife Amanda of Alabama. He was the proud grandfather to his six grandchildren. William is also survived by his sister, Esther Sheehy of Londonderry, NH and his brother, Thomas Nutton of Methuen, many nieces and nephews, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and his brother-in-law Thomas W. Sheehy.
Visitation for William will be held on Saturday September 29, 2018 from 12:00 – 2:30 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours. To honor William’s wishes, interment will be private.
