In Loving Memory of Wanda Gines,
With heartfelt gratitude, I honor the vibrant spirit and enduring warmth of Wanda. Every day, she brought laughter to the office, brightening even the quietest moments with her spontaneous songs and quirky humor. Her jokes, profound advice, and gentle kindness touched us all, creating memories that will forever bring smiles to our faces.
Wanda had a unique way of making ordinary days special, like those delightful mornings when I'd find Tripolis bread and butter mysteriously waiting on my desk, her playful way of keeping the sender 'a secret.' Her texts asking "What's for lunch?" or her cheerful "Hoy es viernes y el cuerpo lo sabe" on Fridays never failed to lift our spirits.
Her recommendations - whether it was a binge-worthy TV show, a must-visit restaurant, or a fine yet cheap wine - always came from the heart. I'm deeply thankful for introducing me to the joy of good tea and the importance of never skipping breakfast, a gentle reminder of her nurturing nature.
Wanda was more than a colleague; she was a mentor, a friend, and an integral part of our lives, always making us feel included in her world. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her legacy of joy, warmth, and generosity will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
I will miss her immensely and am comforted by the thought that one day, we will meet again. Until then, Wanda, you remain in our hearts, cherished and remembered always.🤍🙏🏽🕊️️
