My brother Paul told me of Terry’s passing a few weeks ago. I remember Terry fondly from when I was a young boy. She used to baby sit for my brothers and I when we visited my grandparents and aunt and uncle in Salisbury Beach in the late 50s and early 60s. She would read to us from “Black Beauty” at bedtime. We used to go to the Pattavina’s beach house and run around and make a nuisance of ourselves while Terry and the adults had a cocktail and listened to 45s on late summer afternoons. A little tidbit. I remember assisting her in getting her iPad unlocked to get some software running. We had a conference call with the Apple Rep and needed to know the answer to one of her secret question. Mind you I’m spending over an hour at her house eating her famous meat pies and dealing with the rep, who won’t assist any further unless she answers the question. So question is like an 60-70s famous TV icon. Me, Jill and her family are stumped. For another hour we are brainstorming what else we can do next, then we hear a loud voice yelling ‘Dick Clark’ and everything was working afterwards. Silly moment but one that I will cherish with their family. My condolences to the Pattavina family!
