Shirley Cartwright
My memories are like the stars in the sky. You just can’t count them. We were always very close, family holiday gatherings as our home became her favorite times. As she aged, it was important to tighten our bond. Her goal was always to encourage forgiveness, to promote family life encouraging all of us to do what we can to keep the family close. This increased focus grew as her time on earth seemed more limited. I think she knew her time for all of this was limited. Her constant appreciation of every kindness overflowed. She loved us, loved all family members, her new friends at MI and deeply missed those she outlived. She is with them now. She lived a full and often adventurous life. Her loss places a deep hollow place in my heart that nothing can fill.
