Richard was one of my favorite older cousins. He had so many qualities! He was responsible and caring, and especially devoted to his sister, Natalie.
He loved to talk about his favorite things to do, including his favorite foods and restaurants and occasional pleasure trips, such as his trip to Canada, to Ontario, if I remember correctly.
Richard was a congenial spirit and whenever I spoke to him in person, I always perceived a glow and felt I had been blessed by God with a visit by an angel. I will miss my Cousin Richard very much. I hope and believe that God has welcomed Richard’s spirit into heaven.
I think the angels might have enlisted him into an heavenly soccer team and a choir. His beautiful tenor voice was angelic on earth. Now I hope his spirit can sing with the Seraphim choir in Paradise. He is away, but will never be forgotten by his family and friends. May God fill your spirit with eternal bliss, Richard .
