Lori A. Sousa's Obituary
Lori A. Sousa, age 61 of Methuen passed away on March 2, 2018. Lori, a long-time resident of Methuen,was born on November 27, 1956 to the late Thomas and Dorothy (Cravinho) Sousa. Lori was a 1974 graduate of Methuen High School and graduated from UMASS-Lowell Class of 1978 where she received her B.A. in Business. She was awarded a Master's Degree in Human Resources from Rivier College in 1994. She volunteered as a longtime CCD teacher at both Sts. Peter and Paul Parish and Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary Parish. She enjoyed interior design, cooking and cats. Lori worked for Lucent Technologies.
Lori was the dear sister of Steve Sousa and his wife Mary. She was the devoted aunt of Elizabeth Mitchell and her husband Gregory and their children Brady and Hunter. She is also survived by many cousins.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home immediately following calling hours, beginning promptly at 6:00 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lori’s memory may be made to the CCD Program at Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary Parish, 35 Essex St. Lawrence, MA 01840.
