It was with profound shock and sadness that I learned about the passing of my long time childhood friend, Lois. It just did not seem real that this very vibrant person had suddenly left us! She was a beautiful, wonderful, young lady! I say, "young", because she looked it and lived every day to the fullest! We frequently had lunch together and she would relate to me, one story after the other, about her children and grandchildren who she loved so much, and all the places she had visited and what her future plans were. She was a most caring individual who, not only volunteered to help, but, was always there when called upon for assistance. We started our friendship in Elementary school--at the Bruce School, and it endured throughout the years. Words cannot adequately express how much I will miss her and all of our talks about life. I extend to her son, two daughters, grandchildren and all the members of her family, my most sincere and heartfelt sympathy upon the loss of this very, very special person. May they be comforted and sustained by all the precious memories they have of this wonderful, special "young lady", named, "Lois"!
