Josephine L. (Petrosino) Amato, 88, of Methuen, former longtime resident of Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 31, 2021. Josephine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul Amato in Read Obituary
We loved visiting Josie and Paul when we would visit our parents in Florida. The entire family enjoyed going to see them.
Your mom was always so full of energy. I loved her spirit.
I picture the two couples going to the movies in heaven with your dad falling asleep in the theater.
Josie remains in my prayers.

Your mom Josie was a wonderful person. I met her at Lawrence High where we became friends. Then as time went on we lost contact not knowing that she had moved out of state. Later we reconnected as members of the Moving on Group and later the Circle of Friends. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. My condolences to her family. You are all in my prayers.
