Methuen - On Saturday, June 12, 2021 Jean E. Borrelli passed away peacefully at her home in Methuen. Born in Front Royal, Virginia, where she grew up, she later graduated from Duke University School of Nursing. It was here she met Read Obituary
I am so sorry for your loss. I don't think a Christmas Eve goes by when I don't think back to the wonderful times when Philip and I would stop by after Christmas Eve dinner at my mother-in-law's, and visit with all of you. Your father would spend time showing Philip his latest glass purchases and your Mother and I would have great conversations. I marveled at how she did it all. She was definitely a very special person.

Condolences to Mark & the entire Borrelli family. I was always amazed at your Mom's relative calm amidst everything that was going on at your house growing up. She never lost that Southern charm and kept all hers & the many, many, many friends feeling welcome any time. Gina and Steve and family: My sincere sympathies in the loss of your lovely Mother. I will never forget when I was a young teenager, working for your Dad's answering service. Your Mom once told me the secret to your Dad, "His bark is worse than his bite" and she would laugh that great laugh of hers. And told me to call him "Papa" and he would melt. Which I did, and he did. I became fast friends with both your Mom and Dad. May you be comforted by your memories of both and their storybook marriage. Take care. Your Mom is now at peace.

Dear Mark and the Borrelli family, I remember meeting your family for the first time. I had never seen so many people sitting at a kitchen table and beyond. Family, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends and everyone else were always welcome with your mother quietly in the background watching over everyone. Your mother was such a lovely person. Jean was the nicest person you could ever meet. I met her at the pumps at Roberts Broadway Texaco when I checked her oil which was a common practice back then and noticed her air conditioner belt was missing and asked her if she knew and her reply was no wonder there's no cold air coming out. I installed a new belt and she was so happy to have cold air cooling the car. We became instant friends. She then introduced me to her great husband and family, which was one of my favorite and fondest memories. I would like to express my deepest condolences to Raphael and family.
