Dear Fran, my dearest Godmother and the Lannan family, our deepest sympathy for the loss of such a wonderful human being. All our family gatherings over the years would NEVER have been the same without the two of you there. George’s genuine and amazed laughter of you and my Mom telling McCarthy / Collins family stories when growing up still echo in my mind. What a beautiful soul he was on earth and is now living eternally.
Hold on and cherish the love and laughter of your brief 66+ years and the many years together as a family. With warmest thoughts. Though we are miles away, we are there with you in spirit.
Love, Cathy and Mike
Mrs. Lannan and Family,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of Mr. Lannan. I always enjoyed chatting with him whether it be Mass Electric, St. Monica’s or the beach. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May your happy memories give you peace and comfort.
Fondly,
Mary Wheeler-Gosselin
Our deepest sympathy to the entire Lannan Family. "Hawk" will always hold special place in our hearts. As impressionable teenagers visiting the Lannan's home, both "Hawk" and Fran welcomed us with open arms and served as a positive influence in our lives. As we grew up and became parents ourselves we came to see Hawk and Fran as more than just Dan's parents, but old friends. We will sadly miss our conversations, the stories of "meeting up with the old gang" and of course their Manhattans. Hawk exemplified how to live a rewarding life of faith, family and friends and we will always be thankful for the time we spent with them both.

Frannie & family,
There are not enough words to express our sympathy for your loss! Let all the wonderful memories stay in your heart!
We have many great memories of George. He and Frannie would join in all the fun, some include wagon rides, 45’s, parties , picnics at the beach. George, you will be missed by many, especially at Marsden family gatherings!

To my second family, the Lannans: My deepest condolences on the loss of Dad. He was one of the great ones.....kind, compassionate, funny, and so, so super tolerate of the pseudo-Irish wannabes next door. I can’t think of a sleep over, car ride, beach stay, or family dinner that I was not welcomed to with open arms.
Dad was an amazing father and grandfather and I know you will all miss him terribly. He and Ma raised an amazing family and made the girl next door feel like she was a part of it always. My heart sang happy songs when Dad would let my Frankie and Peter explore the koi pond and they would report back that they had been at Grandpa and Nana Lannan’s looking at the fish.
May you all take comfort in your wonderful memories, I know I will.
Most affectionately,
Paula
