I loved my Uncle Emil. We lived on the same street when I was a boy. We shared many holidays, and Sunday nights when he had a color TV before we did. I loved his soft-spoken manner, his love for his family, and especially his unique sense of humor. And his wisdom. So many fine qualities in this man.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Emil's passing. Emil was a wonderful friend to my deceased parents, Jim and Leona, as well as to the rest of my family. Truly, a great guy! It seems like yesterday, when I was a young kid working at Kealey Farms, Emil stopping to say hi to me as he came by to do some shopping. A little gesture that meant a lot. Peggy, my condolences to you and your family. I will never forget, what was a lifetime ago, the fun times our families shared together. Our prayers are with you and your family. God bless you.
