Doris A. Mack's Obituary
Doris A. Mack passed away on April 24, 2020 after a long courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Born in Lawrence on April 8, 1930 to Michael J. and Mary A (Hennighan) Mack, she attended St. Patrick’s School graduating from the Edward T. Searles High School in Methuen. She was employed for 37 years in various positions by the Commonwealth of Mass. Dept. of Mental Health in Boston, retiring in 1985.
She loved travelling to Europe and the Caribbean as well as the United States and Canada. After retiring she spent summers at her home on Lake George, NY with family and friends and her dog Inky. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and doing all the puzzles in the daily newspaper. She was a parishioner of St. Monica Church.
Pre-deceased by her parents and her sister Mary P. DeSisto, she is survived by a niece Maureen P. DeSisto of Methuen and dear and caring friends Dawn and Steve Angelo of Methuen. She was “Nana” to their children, Steve, of Methuen, Stephanie of Salem NH and Bob of Dracut.
