I first met Cathy when I worked for Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen. I became close to her family up until she left. Dennis, Lisa, Robin,D.J.,and Bill-Cathy will always have a place in my heart. I'll always remember coming up and spending the night in the trailer.

My heart goes out to all of you... Robin, Lisa, Jimmy, Dennis and Ted. I have had the pleasure of knowing Cathy from my childhood. She was always so kind and thoughtful, beautiful inside and out and I am sure that everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her feels the same.
Though life takes us all in different directions and down many unwinding roads, we always end up never forgetting the incredible people we grew up with. The innocence of childhood, the special bonds of friendship, a cup of tea, and spaghetti on toast, Barbara Steisand, Barry Manilow, and the Bay city Rollers were among the favorites at the time.

My heart is broken for Dennis, the boys and all the family. I knew Cathy for a very long time as her neighbor on Raymond St., and then as her tenant. I used to babysit the boys. I have no words. She was one of the sweetest people I've ever known. My heart and prayers are with everyone who knew this wonderful lady.
I had the pleasure of meeting Cathy during my internship at Palm the spring of 2019. She was so kind and fought so hard to get patients and residents services. She taught me a lot and showed me first hand the hard work and all the love that goes into this field of work. She was always so helpful and I am so glad I returned to Palm for my further internships. She was dedicated, caring, and I couldn't say enough great things about her. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing, I couldn't imagine learning the ropes of social work under anyone else; she will be missed.
It broke my heart to hear about Cathy. I had the privilege of working with Cathy for two years at Palm at the very start of my career. She LOVED our residents, and brought so much joy and light to them. She would sing karaoke with them, dance around, and cheer everyone up. She was a force of nature, so hard-working, so much energy. I remember having lunch with her at Palm, and she would be gearing up for a second job that evening to help others in need. She was selfless. I have a particular memory of her helping with the Valentine's Day luncheon for our residents and their significant others, she put so much thought and effort to help make it special, even though it wasn't even part of her job.
Cathy played a huge role on setting me on my career path as a Social Worker in the elder care field. I will be forever grateful that she gave me the chance to work for her, gave me great advice, helped me get my Social Work Associate License, and encouraged me along the way. I still have the beautiful, fancy pen she gave me as part of a going-away gift when I left Palm to work for Elder Services almost ten years ago. She made an indelible mark on my life, and I know on so many other lives as well. The way she lived her life, that is the definition of LEGACY.

My family is so saddened to hear of Cathy's untimely passing. I'm sure we are one of hundreds of stories you will hear in the months ahead of Cathy's beautiful nature and character. Our mother was in Palm for rehab before her passing on March 30th. Cathy was so approachable and willing to listen to any and all concerns. I remember very vividly talking to Cathy about a request for a room change. I honestly didn't think a room change would happen or that it would happen that very same day! She wanted nothing more than for my mother to feel comfortable and checked in on her regularly, just to say hello and ask if everything was ok.
I knew that day that Cathy was a special person and was truly doing God's work.
I hope the family will always feel her presence as you go through your own life's journey.
