Arthur A. Crossman's Obituary
Arthur A. Crossman, 88 of Methuen, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Boston Medical Center.
Born on June 15, 1935, Arthur was a beloved son of the late Harold and Ester (Whittermore) Crossman. He was a proud graduate of Amesbury High School, class of 1953, where he laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and curiosity.
Arthur's passions were as diverse as they were deep. As a member of the Methuen Rod & Gun Club, he found joy in honing his marksmanship skills. But perhaps his greatest passion was crafting with his hands. Arthur's craftsmanship was evident in the very home he built, a testament to his skill and dedication. Woodworking brought him immense satisfaction, and he poured his heart into countless projects over the years.
Beyond his hobbies, Arthur's greatest joy was found in the company of those he held dear. For 27 years, he shared a loving partnership with Rosemarie Owens, whose presence brought light to his life. Additionally, Arthur maintained a close and cherished friendship with his ex-wife, Heidi Crossman, demonstrating his capacity for enduring bonds and mutual respect.
In honoring Arthur's wishes, there will be no formal services held. Instead, his memory will be honored privately by those who knew and loved him. Those who wish to pay tribute to Arthur's life are invited to consider making a memorial contribution to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
