William H. Taylor's Obituary
William H. Taylor, 86, of Methuen, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Bill, born in Saint Clairsville, OH on January 26, 1938, was a cherished son of the late Benjamin R. and Fronie (Howard) Taylor. His journey led him through a fulfilling career as a chemical warehouse manager until his well-deserved retirement. Even after retirement, Bill's generous spirit shone through as he dedicated his time to volunteering at Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast, Maine. When not lending a helping hand, he found solace and joy in his artistic pursuits, whether it was painting, creating stained glasswork, crafting soaps, or delicately carving wood. Traveling was another passion he held dear to his heart.
Bill will be deeply missed by his three children, Benjamin Taylor and his wife, Mary Jane of Hudson, NH, Shawn Taylor and his wife, Stephanie of Newton, NH, and Debra Audy and her husband, Keith of Methuen; his dear siblings, David Taylor and Susan Kelly; eleven adoring grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Chester.
In honoring Bill's wishes, there will be no formal services held. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to pay tribute to Bill's memory may consider making donations to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, is honored to extend their services to the Taylor family during this difficult time.
