William "BIll" Lemieux's Obituary
William “Bill” Joseph Lemieux, 80, of Methuen passed away peacefully in his home early Friday morning on April 28, 2023 with his life-partner, Jean by his side.
Bill was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, where he resided most of his life. He was a retired truck driver. He loved cars and watched NASCAR every Sunday. He loved cooking and the company of his two cats, Rusty and Blue. He had many friends who referred to him by his nickname “Santa”.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Lemieux; his mother, Yvonne Dillard Lemieux; and two sisters, Maria Brady and Jeannette LaPlume.
He is survived by his life-partner of 50 years, Jean Soucy; his sons, Lawrence Joseph Lemieux and his partner, Elena Rando of Pelham, New Hampshire, and Lance William Lemieux of Winthrop Massachusetts; and daughter, Lisa Ann D’Agata and her husband, Joseph; and only granddaughter, Angelea Jane-Marie D’Agata of Northampton, Pennsylvania; brother, Gary Lemieux and his wife, Joanne; sister, Marie Coletta. In addition he leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Per his wishes, there will be no services held. A celebration of life ceremony will be held for immediate family and close friends on Saturday, May 6th, 2023. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lemieux Family.
