Methuen,MA ? Violet G. (Desbiens) Peel age 93 died Sunday April 29, 2007 at Harborside Healthcare in Keene, New Hampshire.
Born in Lawrence she was educated in Methuen, and a longtime resident. She worked for many years as a stitcher at Tyer Rubber in Andover, MA.
The widow of Benjamin Peel, Sr., she leaves one daughter Dorothy E. Gordon of Florida.
one brother Lucien P. Desbiens of Millers Falls, MA
one sister Lucille Madden, of NJ,
one daughter-in-law Mary Peel of Haverhill, MA, four grandchildren Cheryl A. Bingham,of FL, Kevin F. Gordon, Stephen W. Gordon, and Kelly G. Roe, all of New Hampshire,
5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Violet was predeceased by her son Benjamin Peel, Jr. and grandson ?Biffy? Peel. one sister Lillian Blight, two brothers Lawrence and Leo Desbiens.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Friday from 6:00p.m. ? 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street Methuen.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00a.m. in St. Monica?s Church of Methuen.
Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery also in Methuen.
