Methuen - Tommy Phan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 52 in Methuen, Massachusetts. Born on February 11, 1972, in Mỹ Tho, Vietnam, Tommy was the cherished son of Lon Tran of Methuen and the late Chau Phan.
Tommy dedicated many years of his life to his work as a supervisor at Polar Tech in Lawrence until the company's closure. Beyond his professional life, Tommy was known for his love of family and his culinary skills, often delighting his grandchildren with his cooking. His passion for animals was evident in the joy he found spending time with his beloved dogs, Lily and Lucy.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Huong Nguyen; his mother, Lon Tran; his daughters, Christine and Diana Phan of Derry, NH; his step-children, Truc Huynh of California and Thien Huynh of Derry, NH; his brother, Khoi Phan of Methuen; his sisters, Khanh, Uyen, and Lien Phan, all residing in Vietnam; and three grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Tommy by attending his visitation on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 3 to 6 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. A private Buddhist service will be held at the convenience of the family.
