Theresa Marie Nicholson's Obituary
Theresa Marie Nicholson, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine, surrounded by her cherished family.
Born and raised in Andover, MA, Theresa was the beloved daughter of Wilfred and Alice (Pelletier) Pare. Soon after school, she married the love of her life, Herbert W. Nicholson, and together they created a beautiful life filled with love and adoration over their fifty-nine years of marriage. A devoted mother and grandmother, Theresa took great pride in her family that she cherished so much. She was an active member of St. Monica Parish in Methuen, MA, where her faith continued to flourish and guide her on life’s journey. She also enjoyed working for many years at Raytheon as a production technician. Theresa’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Theresa will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered by her children: Bruce W. Nicholson and his wife, Deborah of Methuen, Gayle A. Grella and her husband, Albert of Windham, NH, and Lynne E. Denny and her companion, Randy Ferrence of Lisbon Falls, ME. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Tarrah and her companion, Ramon, Shawn, Michael and his wife, Emily, Monica, Kortnee and her husband, Nicholas, Amanda, and Joshua, as well as her great-grandchildren, Madyson, Grace, Catherine, Camden, Lorenzo, Michael, and Everly, as well as several nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her daughter, Pamela A. Nicholson, and granddaughter, Lauren A. Grella.
Relative and friends are kindly invited to calling hours from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. A Funeral Mass for Theresa will start at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, April 15, at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Entombment to follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery & Mausoleum, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence, MA.
