Theodora "Teddy" (Christakis) Grelle's Obituary
Theodora (Christakis) Grelle, known as Teddy, age 74 of Windham, NH passed away on May 4, 2022. Teddy was born in Yianneika Greece on October 15, 1947 to the late Dimitri and Pauline (Theophilopolous) Christakis. She taught social studies at Marshall Simonds Middle School in Burlington, MA for over 35 years, sharing her passion for learning and ancient civilizations with thousands of students. After retiring to Nashville TN, she worked along her husband for 7 years, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, where she would work security at both hockey games and concerts. She loved music, dancing, and gardening. She also loved and would dote on her grand-doggers.
Teddy was the beloved wife of Ronald Grelle. She was the devoted mother of Katerina Hanson and Andrea Grelle. Teddy was the dear sister of the late George Christakis, the late Christopher Christakis, and the late Anastasia Stephens.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, immediately following calling hours, beginning promptly at 7:00 PM.
