Teresa (King) Walsh's Obituary
Teresa “Teri” (King) Walsh, 98, of Methuen, MA passed away on Saturday November 2, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side.
Born in Lawrence, Teresa was the daughter of the late Harold and Evelyn (Shaw) King. Teri attended area schools and was a graduate of Searles High School, Class of 1943.
Teri retired from Western Electric where she worked as senior test operator. Teri was a gifted and talented artist who hand made porcelain dolls that she hand painted, and Teri was also a gifted seamstress who also hand-made all the doll clothes. Teri and the love of her life, Eddie Foley (predeceased), were regular dancing tournament winners and just loved dancing to ballroom music. Teri mastered yoga in retirement and was an instructor until age 90.
Teresa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, Kevin D. Walsh and his wife, Ling of Las Vegas, NV, Brian S. Walsh, Sr. and his companion, Shirley Gagnon of Salisbury, MA, grandchildren, Robin Walsh of Methuen, Brian S. Walsh, Jr. and his companion, Alicia Reppucci of Methuen, Andrew and Tikisha Walsh of Sherman Oaks, CA, Audrey Walsh Barbour and her husband, Pastor Brian Barbour of Jacksonville, FL, great grandchildren, Darla and Bethany Boyle, brother, John King and his late wife, Jacqueline of Clearwater, FL, and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Teresa was predeceased by her son, Barry M. Walsh, her daughter, Sharon P, Walsh who is survived by her companion, Kenneth Breitenstein.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday November 5, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on the next day, Wednesday November 6, at 11 am at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, N. Lowell St., Methuen.
