Susan L. Mottram

Susan L. (McKenna) Mottram, 75, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at High Pointe House in Haverhill. She was the beloved wife of the late Glen G. Mottram, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. Susan was born on May 7, 1950, at Bon Secours Hospital in Methuen. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Maginnis) McKenna. Susan began her working life as a secretary at Bolton-Emerson Americas in Lawrence, and then eventually started working in a daycare before retiring from retail. She enjoyed watching crime shows, savoring a good cup of coffee, going out to eat with her sisters, cheering on the Bruins, and, most of all, spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Susan was a simple yet feisty, strong-willed woman. Being home was her sanctuary and her comfort zone. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Glen G. Mottram; her sister, Jane McKenna-Davis; and brother-in-law, Leo Mottram. Susan will be deeply missed by her two sons, Glen G. Mottram II of Meredith, NH., and Ryan Mottram of Weare, NH; cherished grandchildren, Lillia, Kennedy, Declan, Austin, Zakk, Keyla Hackett and her husband, Ricky of Haverhill; adored great-grandchildren McKenna, Skylar, and Richard Hackett III; sisters, Bette McKenna of Lawrence and Jean Currao of Newton, NH; brother-in-laws, Wayne Mottram of FL., and Allen Mottram of Salem, NH; sister-in-law, Gayle of Lawrence; brother-in-law, Sal Currao of Newton, NH. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Susan’s life by gathering for her calling hours from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the Methuen Family Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
