Shirley Anna Marie Pfaffinger's Obituary
Shirley Anna Marie Pfaffinger, age 88, of Sugar Hill, Georgia, peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Shirley was born August 8, 1934, in Lawrence, MA, to the late Frederick Fusco and the late Zillah Fusco; also preceding Shirley in death were her sisters, Zillah Cascone and Leah Rand.
Shirley was a devoted member at St. Benedict Catholic Church. She retired with over 30 years as a nurse working at St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta. She enjoyed reading, ceramics, knitting, and painting. She loved to travel and go on cruises. Times dearest to Shirley were moments she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Loving wife of 67 years, Allen Pfaffinger; cherished mother of Kimberly Hughes and husband Robert, Kristen Williams and husband Charles, Kerry Clark and husband David, and Todd Pfaffinger; cherished grandmother of Jarrod Williams, Jaimee Miles and husband Ryan, Devin Hughes and wife Christine, Demi Mundorf and husband Matthew, Joseph Clark, Christopher Clark, Emma Pfaffinger, Harper Pfaffinger; proud great-grandmother of Jaxson Miles, Macy Miles, Thomas Hughes, Kinslee Miles, Amelia Hughes and Everlee Miles; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian service for Shirley will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at St. Benedict Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory.
Relatives and guests are invited to attend a Graveside service on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11 :00 AM at St. Mary- Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Pfaffinger Family.
