Shirley A. Mottram's Obituary
Shirley A. (Andrew) Mottram, 77, an adored resident of Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. Born on October 28, 1946 in Lawrence, MA and was educated in the Methuen public schools.
She was was predeceased by her son, Shawn Mottram; and her parents, Harry and Alice (Aboud) Andrew.
Shirley is survived by her son, Michael Mottram and his partner, Leah Rapaglia; sister, Barbara Daigle and her husband, Albert of Methuen; brother, Bruce Andrew and his wife Pauline of Methuen; and sister, Gail Andrew of Palm Harbor, Florida. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Shawna Mottram, a great-grandson, uncle, aunt, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends at Nevins Nursing Home. Shirley is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
The family of Shirley expresses heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional staff at Nevins Nursing Home for their unwavering dedication, compassionate care, and companionship extended to Shirley during her time with them. The family acknowledges not only the professional and attentive treatment that was administered but also the sincere companionship and loving support that made Shirley's years at Nevins Nursing Home more than just a place of care—it became a true home filled with warmth and genuine connections.
Relatives and guests are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours, beginning promptly at 12:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial to follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nevins Nursing Home and Rehab Center, 10 Ingalls Court, Methuen, MA 01844. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Mottram family.
