Sharon D. Roy's Obituary
Sharon D. (Cummings) Roy, 77 of Newton NH, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Roy for over 50 years.
Sharon was born in Lawrence on April 14, 1945, the daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice (Schlehuber) Cummings. She graduated from Lawrence High School and worked as an accountant for AGFA Corp. in Wilmington for over 20 years until her retirement. Sharon enjoyed reading, needle point, traveling, camping, visiting historic places, and going to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her 3 children, Richard R. Roy and his partner, Shari of Hooksett, NH, Lisa M. Bobola and her husband, Timothy J. of Newton, NH, with whom she resided, and David M. Roy and his wife, Tricia of Salem, NH; her brother, Donald Cummings; her sister, Barbara Beliveau; 7 grandchildren, Samantha, Peter and his wife, Charlene, Ashley and her husband, Sercan, Timothy, Kaila, Kiana, and Kalli; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her 2 brothers, Fred and Robert Cummings.
