Dear Paula
My memories of Shari are first as a spry, freckle faced, spirited little girl, always smiling; later as a loving Mom of her 3 beautiful children. Holidays at her home, were always decorated to a tee, and kid's birthday parties were incredible. Everything imaginable as it related to the party theme was there. She celebrated her children in a big way! I remember her graciously and lovingly caring for my Dad, without any hesitation, such a gift to the first floor Auclairs. Thank you! Shari's kind heart, caring soul, and Josh, Savannah, and Sierra will always be her legacy.

Shari was one of my best friends in high school. We were in colorguard together (her nickname was Lewis), had a shared group of friends, worked at Ponderosa together, spent days and days after school going to Wendy’s and her house. I loved my friend. Rest in Peace Shari.

One of my fondest memories of Shari was how completely over the top she decorated the house for Christmas and Halloween. I dare say Halloween was more extravagant than Christmas. You felt like you were walking through the enchanted forest at Disney. Shari would not stop until everything was perfect and ready for the kids to enjoy.

She left us much too soon.

Josh, I am so sorry for your loss. I am so proud of the efforts you made to visit your mom in Florida, and keep in touch with her, especially during the pandemic. And so very proud of the way you handled all the difficult things you had to endure and decisions you needed to make. I only met your mom once but from hearing your stories and these memories, I would like to think your mom and I would have been friends. And Becky, I am so sorry for your loss as well. I am proud of the way you supported Josh, and how you balanced your needs with his. I am happy that you got the opportunity to get to know her. And Paula, a mother should never have to lose a child.
