Sarah E. Menzies' Obituary
Sarah E. Menzies, 47, of Haverhill, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 13, 2024, at home with her mother.
Sarah was born in Lawrence on December 10, 1976, and was the daughter of Patricia A. Menzies and the late Norman F. Menzies.
Sarah was raised in North Andover and was a graduate of North Andover High School, Class of 1995. After high school she worked in the Bio-Tech field for many years and was later self-employed for 17 years as she opened her own Janitorial services business, SEM Janitorial. She loved her cats, photography and traveling to many places around the world. Sarah loved being the aunt of her two nephews and adored spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, Sarah was the loving sister of David T. Menzies of Haverhill and her sister-in-law Heather Menzies. She was the cherished aunt of Greyson F. Menzies and Emmet P. Menzies and the niece of Cynthia Hartnett. Sarah is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
The wake will be held at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Monday May 20th and visiting hours will be 4 pm to 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen on May 21st at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
