One of my fondest memories was going to her house as a kid, there was always people around and food at the table and lots of laughs... My Aunt was so funny and I loved the way she called me “Cheri”

I met Sandra in Medical Records at LGH in 1963. We had a great time working with Ida. I can remember when Freddie was in Okinawa he sent a picture of the engagement ring that he bought for her. She was so excited as we all were. He came back from Okinawa, went to their wedding, and spent a few New Years Eve with them. Welcomed her boys. Many happy times were spent with Sandra. Working in Medical Records was like a family. We lost touch when she moved to Arizona, but have thought of all the happy and crazy times we shared in Medical Records so many times.

To my side-kick cousin!!! We were "uscamadda buddies"and will remain that way for Eternity. I love you my buddy and will be with you again and we will teach everyone there to make our secret formula!!! 'Uscamadda Pies" Keep dancing until I get there

I had the great pleasure of meeting and working with Sandra, when I worked in medical records at Oro Valley Hospital. She was kind, funny and tough. And so incredibly generous with her knowledge and time, in assisting me with questions, when I returned to college. Her and I had lost touch when I left my employment with the hospital...but reconnected next to each other in-of all places, our Chemo chairs, when I was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. She was the same Sandra I remembered from my days working with her-tough and kind and so funny...and within this instance-stoic and so strong. I will miss her wonderful east coast accent, her amazing laugh, her beautiful sparking eyes, her phenomenal personality and her amazing hugs. My sincerest sympathies to her family. May she rest in sweet, pain-free peace! With much love and fond memories from me and my husband Marty.....
