Ruth E. Murray's Obituary
Ruth E. Murray, age 91 of Methuen passed away on July 6, 2018 at the High Point Hospice House. Ruth was born in North Andover on August 21, 1926 to the late Walter and Anne (McNiff) Murray-Kisolick. Ruth was a former communicant of St. Monica’s Parish of Methuen. She was a longtime employee of New England Telephone and Telegraph Company where she retired as a supervisor in 1986. Ruth was a former volunteer with the Telephone Pioneers of America. She enjoyed traveling and candlepin bowling and golfing. Ruth will be remembered as someone who was very helpful and very dedicated to her family.
Ruth is survived by many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and many great-great nieces and nephews. She was the dear sister of the late William Murray and the late Beatrice M. Kimball.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours, beginning promptly at 1:30 PM. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence. Memorial contributions in Ruth’s memory may be made to the High Pointe Hospice House, 360 North Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830.
