Russell A. Parolisi Sr.'s Obituary
Russell Alphonse Parolisi SR., 77 of Tavares, FL, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023, peacefully at his New Hampshire home in Sandown. He was the beloved husband of the late Sheryle L. Parolisi. Russell was born to the late Alphonse and Filomena (Palermo) Parolisi on March 11, 1946, in Lawrence, MA.
Raised in Lawrence, Russell was a cement finisher for over 40 years. He married the love of his life, Sheryle Parolisi, in 1973, and lived in Methuen, MA for 39 years before relocating to Tavares, FL. He was a member of the local 102 Cement Finishers and went on to work for S&F concrete and then Salem Concrete Construction until his retirement. Russell was a communicant at St. Monica Parish (previously Mt. Carmel Church) in Methuen. He was dedicated to his family. Always putting the needs of his wife and children before himself. He was the glue that held everyone together. Russell enjoyed playing pool in his earlier years. He loved going to car shows with his children to show off his 68 Buick Grand Sport. Russell loved watching all sports, especially baseball, football and basketball.
Russell will be deeply missed by his eight children, Robby Bouchard of Methuen, Richard Bouchard and his fiancé, Candiceann Iannaco of Chichester, NH, Russell Parolisi, and his wife, Kimberly, of Derry, NH, James Parolisi and his wife, Kristy, of Hudson, NH, Joseph Parolisi and his wife, Danielle, of Tavares, FL, Michael Parolisi and his wife, Erica, of Salem, NH, Thomas Parolisi and his wife, Meagan, of Sandown, NH, and Jenna Stone and her husband, Jaime, of Atkinson, NH; 19 adored grandchildren, Robby Jr., Ryan, Rachel, Rylee, Caitlyn, Crystal, Cassandra, Russell III, Heather, Haley, Kelsey, Gianna, Gabriella, Luke, Isabella, Sierra, Tommy Jr., Julianna, and Aurora; his great-grandson, Robby Bouchard, III “BO” . He also leaves behind his brother, Richard Parolisi and his wife, Margaret, of Lawrence, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to his wife and parents, Russell is predeceased by his 3 siblings, Nicholas and Ronald Parolisi and Phyllis Curtis.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Russell’s life by gathering for his calling hours from 4 – 8 PM on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday at St. Lucy Parish, 254 Merrimack Street, Methuen. Burial will follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
