Ronald M. Grelle's Obituary
Ronald M. Grelle, 82 of Windham, NH, died on Monday, November 4, 2024 at the Parkland Hospital in Derry, NH.
Ronald was born in Lawrence on September 24, 1942 and was the son of Mario A. and Angelina R. (Palermo) Grelle.
Ronald was raised in Methuen and Salem and was a graduate of Woodbury High School, Class of 1958 and later Brewster Academy and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He enlisted in the United States Airforce and served in the Vietnam War. He worked as a computer programmer until his retirement from Agfa-Bayer. After retirement, he moved to Nashville and worked security for the Nashville Predators, working both sporting events and music events. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and his beagles and especially watching his two daughters grow up.
Ronald was the beloved husband of the late Theodora (Christakis) Grelle. He was the loving father of Katerina Hanson of Oakland, CA., and Andrea Grelle of Windham, NH. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Jonathan Hanson.
A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. A funeral ceremony will be held in the funeral home following the visitation at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ronald’s name to the Beagle Freedom Project at bfp.org. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Grelle Family.
