Ronald T. Descoteaux's Obituary
Ronald T. Descoteaux, 77, of Lawrence, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 19, 2023, at Royal Meadowview in North Reading, MA. Unfortunately Ron suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and spent the last three years of his life there.
Born in Lowell, MA, and raised in Dracut, MA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Simone (Moreau) Descoteaux. For many years Ron was an electrical associate at Ralph Pill Electric Supply.
Ron will be deeply missed by his wife of fifty-four years, Rosemarie (Bouchard) Descoteaux of Lawrence, MA, daughter-in-law, brothers, Kenneth Descoteaux, and his wife, Angela of Methuen, MA, Gary Descoteaux, and his partner, Pam of Dracut, and Barbara DeRepentigny Descoteaux of North Andover.
Ron was predeceased by his son, Thomas Descoteaux, who passed in January 2021, brothers-in-law, Roland and Michael Bouchard, Thomas Hogan, nephew, Scott Lacroix, sister-in-law, Susan Bouchard.
Ronald leaves his brother-in-law, Arthur Bouchard of Florida, sisters-in-law, Lucille Hogan of Lawrence, MA, Elaine Bouchard of Haverhill, MA, Dolores Morse, and her husband, Bob of Hampstead, NH, Lorraine Armano, and her husband, John of North Andover, MA, Evelyn Bouchard of Colorado, Cecile Dube, and her husband, Dennis of Methuen, MA, Maurice Bouchard, and his wife Cecile of Florida, Pamela Lacroix of Haverhill, MA, Donna Guilmette, and her husband, Bert of Methuen, MA.
To know Ron was to love him. He loved to make people laugh and we will never forget his sense of humor. He also loved vacationing at Salisbury Beach where many good times were had by family. He enjoyed going to Foxwoods and Atlantic City with his wife and mother and had wonderful times there.
Ron’s family sends a very special thank you for the compassionate care the staff at Royal Meadowview gave him. At the request of Ron’s family, there will be no calling hours and burial will be determined at a later date.
