Ronald A. Bergeron's Obituary
Ronald A. Bergeron, age 69 of Methuen, MA, passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 8, 2022. Ronald was born in Methuen on August 8, 1952 to the late Hubert P. Bergeron and Florence (Landry) Bergeron. He graduated from Tenney High School in Methuen in 1970. For the past 48 years, Ronald was married to his soulmate and high school sweetheart, Mary Ann (Paquin) Bergeron. He went on to build a 35+ year career of installing overhead garage doors, and even owned and operated his own business: Big Door Company. He took great pride in his craft.
Ronald enjoyed motorcycles, sharing his love of music with others, spending time at the beach, and riding the rail trails with his adoring wife. He was mechanically inclined, enjoyed tinkering in his workshop, and could fix just about anything. Ronald will be remembered as a loving family man with a quick wit and an infectious smile.
Ronald was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (Paquin) Bergeron. He was the devoted father of Gregory Bergeron and his wife Melissa of Bradford, MA, and Zachary Bergeron and his wife Kristin of Andover, MA. Ronald was the loving grandfather affectionately known as “Pappy” to Justin, Jillian, Benjamin and Charlotte. He took great enjoyment in supporting them at their sporting events and activities. His dog Chuchi will miss him dearly. Also, he leaves behind his brother Dennis Bergeron and his wife Roberta and sisters Paula Peters and Donna Disario. His caring and supportive extended family consists of brothers-in-law Thomas Hennessy, Robert Hennessy and his wife Maria, Michael Hennessy, Charles Paquin and his wife Linda, sister-in-law Dianne Letch and her husband Al, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A funeral service will be privately held.
