Robert L. Ouellet's Obituary
Robert L. Ouellet, 86, of Plaistow, NH, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving wife Madeline C. (Panebianco) Ouellet, and his seven children.
Born and raised in Lawrence, MA, Robert was the son of the late Herve and Exarine (Saulnier) Ouellet. He attended Lawrence Public Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, class of 1953. Upon graduation, he enlisted with the United States Navy where he honorably served his country for three years during the Korean War. Robert worked as a supervisor for ITT Semiconductor in Lawrence until his retirement. Robert was also the past president of the Lawrence Epilepsy Association and was active with both Saint Basil’s Salvatorian Center in Methuen and Assumption Church in Lawrence.
Upon retirement, Robert fulfilled his dreams of spending his summers on Lake Winnipesaukee and owning and captaining his own boat. He was a dedicated family man and loved to spend time with his growing family. He always looked forward to attending many family events. As an avid sportsman, Robert enjoyed cheering his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren on ranging from elementary events to collegiate competitions, including hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, soccer, and gymnastics. He and his wife Madeline were an adventurous couple enjoying many of their travels together, ball room dancing, and playing board games in the evenings.
A humble man, a family man, a kind and brave man, never forgetful of his roots. He enjoyed living a simple life, but anyone who sat in his presence would tell you that there were always life lessons to be learned. It is through those lessons and tremendous love that Robert’s memory will live on through his family and those who have had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Adrienne Barclay.
Robert is survived by his loving and devoted wife of sixty-four years, Madeline C. Ouellet of Plaistow, NH; his adored children, Robert E.
