Robert C. Nickerson's Obituary
Robert Charles “Bob” Nickerson, 79, of Danville, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 5, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Sarto) Nickerson, with whom he would have celebrated 52 years of marriage in June.
Born in Winchester, Massachusetts, Bob was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Roberts) Nickerson. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he dedicated his professional career to helping others as a counselor at Hampstead Hospital until his retirement.
Bob found great joy and fulfillment in the outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, he cherished the quiet moments spent in nature.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his brother, David; his two sisters, Nancy and Patricia. Also, Samantha, Shane and Kayla Regan, who were family to him; and his cherished fur baby, Blue.
Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Bob’s life during calling hours on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Methuen Family Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, Massachusetts. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Methuen.
