As neighbors, we only knew Bob in his retirement years. We had no idea that he had such an eventful career in the MA State Police. Bob or "Mr. Murgia," as we would call him, was always kind, well mannered, and very well dressed. Every August he would give us some of his very delicious tomatoes from his garden, even the green ones when we asked for them. We referred to Mr. Murgia and his son Bob as "The Bobs." We will miss seeing him in the neighborhood.
