Robert Massie II's Obituary
Robert Massie II, age 57 of Methuen passed away on March 17, 2019. Robert was born in Lawrence on March 24, 1961 to the late Robert and Shirley (Guyette) Massie. He was the longtime owner and operator of Robert Massie Painting. Robert was also a guitarist/vocalist for the Roadhouse Band. He was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoying time with his family.
Robert was the beloved husband of Kim (Salter) Massie with whom he shared 37 years together. He was the devoted father of Marissa Kurubal and her husband Muhammet, and Taylor Massie. Robert was the dear brother of Thomas Guyette, Michael Massie, James Massie and his wife Maria, and Scott Massie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel-St. Theresa’s Parish, 22 Plymouth St. Methuen. Interment to follow at a later date.
