Accidentally shared this before I edited it. So I'm fixing it and sharing again. I miss you so much Gramp. I don't know why it didn't occur to me until now to post a memory of you. I think because we hold you in our hearts and memories daily. We need to keep sharing though Gramp. Since it's Christmas time I'll share a Christmas memory.
I remember the time we walked to the Christmas parade from May St. to downtown, Broadway. We stood right in front of Woolworth's and were very disappointed with the parade. I remember just Santa Claus showed up and maybe one or two other floats. But you and I, we made the best of it anyway. You took me into Woolworths, we sat at the counter and you bought me a grilled cheese. There may have been tomato soup too. However, what I remember most Grandpa, is being with you and how proud it made me feel to have you by my side.
