Rita L. Poulin's Obituary
Rita L. (Cavanaugh) Poulin, age 89 of Methuen passed away on January 8, 2023. Rita was born in Methuen on August 11, 1933 to the late Patrick and Helen (Munn) Cavanaugh. For many years, Rita worked as a clerk at the IRS. She enjoyed watching football, trips to Foxwoods and York Beach with her sister Margaret, and spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.
Rita was the devoted mother of Kenneth Poulin and his wife Karen, the late Donald Poulin, the late Donna Poulin and the late Barbara Collins and her surviving spouse Raymond. She was the dear sister of Margaret LaRocque, the late Patrick James (Jimmy), and the late Jack Cavanaugh and his surviving wife Rachel. Rita is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home following calling hours, beginning promptly at 12:00 Noon. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
