Rita (Marie) Fluet Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Methuen, MA ? Rita M. Fluet, 76 died Thursday August 30, 2007 at the Lawrence General Hospital. She was born in Lawrence the daughter of the late Edward F. and Lucy (McHenry) Fluet. Rita received her education in the Methuen School System and had resided in Methuen for 68 years. For more than 30 years she had been employed as a Circuit Board Technician with the Raytheon Co. of Andover before her retirement. Rita was a former communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church prior to its closing. According to her sister and brothers she enjoyed Bingo, Traveling, Television, Knitting, and more importantly spending quality time with her family and friends. Survivors include her sister Elaine M. Deschene & husband Walter G. of Methuen, brothers Raymond A. & his wife Joan I. Fluet of Salem, NH, and Paul E. & wife Mary Fluet of Methuen, several Godchildren, nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Rita was predeceased by brothers William E. & Roger E. Fluet. A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 11 o?clock in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/ St. Theresas Church 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen with interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery also of Methuen. Friends may call on Monday from 4 P.M. ? 8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
