Richard R. Bergeron Sr.'s Obituary
Richard R. Bergeron, Sr., 80, of Seabrook, NH passed away at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
Born in Lawrence on February 8, 1941 to the late Leo Bergeron and Louise (Dubois) Proulx, he graduated from Woodbury High School, class of 1960. After graduation, Richard, served his country in the United States Navy as part of the NATO Forces in Naples, Italy. Richard was a self-employed business owner of Bergeron and Bergeron Construction.
He loved his family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with his family. Richard loved to travel, which included enjoying winters in Naples, FL, with his beloved wife, playing pickle ball tournaments, coordinating potluck dinners, also coffee and donuts on Saturday mornings where he enjoyed spending time with friends and sharing a good laugh. Also, he enjoyed his nightly beach trips, most especially going to the Shell in Hampton Beach to listen to music. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Scott Latulippe.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Marlene (Dube) Bergeron; his children, Vicki May and her husband, Jim, Rick Bergeron and his wife, Shelly, Susan Bergeron, Danielle Marbach and her husband, Edward, Debra Kelly and her husband, Joe, and Elizabeth Latulippe; sixteen grandchildren, Rebecca, Andrew, Sarah, Liz, Angelo, Victoria, Nathan, Vanessa, Dylan, Tyler, Kyle, Taylor, Megan, Ryan, Kayla, and Glenn; and three great-grandchildren, Everly, Everett, and Wilson. In addition, he leaves behind nine siblings, several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 3:00 PM–7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 14, 2021, at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street in Methuen. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
