Reginald Paradis' Obituary
Deerfield Beach, FL – Reginald M. Paradis, 79 of Deerfield Beach, FL and formerly of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully at his home on May 16, 2019 with his loving wife and daughters by his side.
Born in St. Benoit, Packington, Canada on August 20, 1939, he was the son of the late Stanislas and Yvonne (Morin) Paradis. Reginald worked at Malden Mills in Lawrence, MA and Raytheon in North Andover, MA.
Reggie was a faithful, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was quiet, kind, selfless, and will be missed by all who knew him. His quiet, sly smile will be captured in the hearts of his family and friends. In his free time, Reggie enjoyed golfing, playing pool, and traveling to several places throughout his retirement. He enjoyed life to the fullest and always made people laugh. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Reggie will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 years, Jeannine (Bosse) Paradis; his 2 daughters, Gina Paradis-McEneaney and her husband, Tom and Lisa Sweeney and her husband, Jack; his 6 grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Jessica, Nicole, Dilan, Ryan, Michael, and Sean; 6 siblings, Lucienne Dupuis, Yvonnette Lemieux and her husband, Hector, Marie Reine Beaulieu and her husband, Remi, Lionel Paradis and his wife, Emilienne, Gilbert Paradis and his wife, Germaine, and Leopold Paradis and his wife, Ann; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by 3 brothers, Yvon Paradis, Alberic Paradis, and Fernand Paradis.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Reggie’s life by gathering for his calling hours on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 4 – 8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. His funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at St. Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
