Real Mathieu's Obituary
Real Mathieu, age 81 of Salem, NH and formerly of Lawrence passed away on June 18, 2019. Real was born in St. Victor de Beauce Quebec, Canada on November 1, 1937 to the late Aldalphe and Alice (Fecteau) Mathieu. Real was a longtime union carpenter, Local 111. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Real was the beloved husband of Monique (Guerin) Mathieu with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. He was the devoted father of Serge Mathieu and his longtime partner Karen Lapan, Carole Garcia and her husband James, and Michelle Miller and her husband James. Real was the loving grandfather of Brandon, Aaron, and Ethan. He was the dear brother of Marie Paule DeBellefeville and her husband Fernard, Irene DeBonville and her husband Gerald, Anita Poulin, Aline Genais and her husband Charles, and Gerald Mathieu and his wife Denise. Real is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, 29 Barker St. Lawrence on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow the funeral service.
