Raymond "Ray" J. Aziz's Obituary
Raymond “Ray” J. Aziz, age 76 of Methuen passed away peacefully on September 18, 2018 at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Raymond was born in Lawrence on June 27, 1942 to the late Samuel and Nellie (Ferris) Aziz. He was a long time employee of Crown, Cork and Seal in Lawrence. He was also a former communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel/St. Theresa’s Parish. Ray enjoyed regularly going to Rockingham Park and trips to Foxwoods Casino. He will be remembered as a very caring person.
Raymond was the beloved husband of Rosemarie Aziz of Methuen with whom he shared 47 years of marriage. He was the devoted father of Sam Aziz and his wife Melissa of Coventry, RI. Ray was the dear brother of Robert Aziz and his wife Thora, Marion Aziz, Richard Aziz and his wife Susan, and the late Judy Brown and her late husband Donald. He was the loving grandfather of Evan Aziz and Kendra Aziz. Ray is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the staff at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for all the care Ray received while he was a patient there.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will begin promptly at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery of Methuen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 10 Ingalls Ct. Methuen, MA 01844. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Aziz Family.
