Raymond A. Breton's Obituary
Haverhill – Raymond A. Breton, 72 of Haverhill, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the High Pointe House in Haverhill. He was the beloved husband of Anna (Pellerin) Breton, to whom he was married for 32 years.
Ray was born in Lawrence August 28, 1949, the son of the late Albert and Irene (Bernard) Breton. He attended the Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School in Haverhill. Ray then proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He enlisted in the Navy before he graduated and received his equivalency while he was enlisted. He worked as a power plant engineer at Philips Academy in Andover for 30 years until his retirement. In his free time, Ray enjoyed fishing, reading, and playing computer games.
Ray will be deeply missed by his wife, Anna; his step-son, Shawn Dill and his wife, Laura, of Methuen; 2 grandchildren, Shawn and Alexis; 2 sisters, Joyce Dallaire and her husband, James, of Salem, NH and Diane Dooley and her husband, William, of Salem, NH; and 2 nieces, Cathy and Carrie.
At the request of the family, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ray’s memory to Veterans Northeast Outreach Center, 10 Reed Street, Haverhill, MA 01832. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Breton family.
