Sending our thoughts and prayers to the Phil Jackson family. We were dear friends with Claire and Phil and we were friends since before they were married. Phil was an usher at our wedding 70 years ago. We attended the same church with Claire and her Mom & Dad when we were all in our early years. We keep Claire always in our thoughts and prayers since she went to the nursing home and Phil and all the family. May the Lord grant peace and comfort as only He can. Destined to meet… Mr Jackson is and was one of the Good Men of our time. A God Fearing man, a man who Loved his Family, his beautiful wife Claire and especially loved Steve and Sheryl. his kids. Met the Jackson Family through Steve, during our Vocational Education. Both our fathers were from Construction, Steve and I became instant Friends. What I most loved about Mr Jackson was his Love of Family. Broke bread many of times at their dinner table. Many great conversations were had at those times, fondly remembered. Especially enjoyed catching up with Mr Jackson at Doyle Lumber at any given time we crossed paths, he would stop to chat a few about my projects, his projects and Steve’s latest car…LOL ( Steve you know it’s true ) in all seriousness, Phillip Jackson made a lasting impression on my life, I’m Glad to know the Jackson Family, proud to call Steve a Friend. May the Good Lord Commend Phillip Jackson’s Soul, through his Purification and Sanctification into the Kingdom of Heaven. Lord Jesus Christ comfort the Jackson Family as they mourn the passing of this Good Loyal Christian man Phillip Jackson, Amen ❤️🙏✝️️🕊️

Sending my sincere condolences to Claire, Sheryl, Steven, their families and everyone who knew and loved Phil. I knew Phil through my dear friend, Sheryl, having met her at work over 30 years ago. I had the pleasure of meeting her dad on several occasions and he was always so pleasant, kind and just lovely to talk to. My favorite memory of Phil was the tradition he had with Sheryl of shopping together for Claire's birthday and Christmas gifts. Sometimes they shared lunch together first but often, it was at the time of year in December when we would have our Christmas luncheon at work. Several times, Sheryl would have to leave a bit early from our luncheon to go and meet her dad to go shopping. I know he loved this tradition as much as Sheryl did. Rest in Heavenly Peace. I lived on Rita Lane across from the Jacksons for many years. I have very fond memories about so many conversations with him about pretty much any topic. He loved to chat. After I moved away, whenever I was in the area, I always knocked on their door to say hello and sometimes ended up staying for quite a while. I will never forget the tips he gave me about buying quality furniture. He was always Mr Jackson to us, I have no idea why, except my Mom called him PJ. He did many building projects on our homes and my parent's studio, he was very talented. He drove the same work van for so many years. My late husband got to know him as well and was very fond of him. My sincere condolences to Mrs Jackson, Sheryl and Steven and their families.
