Paul Lafond's Obituary
Paul Lafond, age 76 of Pelham went home to the Lord on October 22, 2020 at the High Pointe Hospice House. Paul was born in Lawrence on September 30, 1944 to the late Albert and Leona (Flanders) Lafond. He enjoyed boating at Lake Winnipesauke, camping with friends, walking the beach with his wife. Paul also enjoyed spending time with his family, his dog Pitou and his late dog Avalanche. He was a member of Exchange Club. Being a jack of all trades, Paul was always willing to help others. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.
Paul was the beloved husband of Denice (Couture) Lafond, with whom he shared 24 years of marriage. He was the devoted father of Lisa Coombs and her husband Brian, Kenneth Lafond and his wife Julie, James Pinet, and Angelique Kudlack. Paul was the loving grandfather of Ryan Coombs, Nickolas Coombs, Joseph Lafond, Annabella Lafond, and Anthony Lafond. He was the dear brother of the late Richard Lafond. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his dear friend Claude Nadeau. The family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the entire staff at the High Point Hospice House for all their care and compassion shown to Paul during his final days.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held for Paul immediately following calling hours, beginning promptly at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Ben Seimon of Rockingham Christian Church to officiate. Burial will be private. Due to the current ongoing global pandemic, facial coverings must be worn and social distancing must be observed to attend the calling hours and funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory may be made to High Point House, 360 North Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830 or to the American Liver Foundation of New England, 188 Needham St. Newton, MA 02461.
