Paul Kimball's Obituary
It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of our brother, Paul Kimball, who peacefully passed away at his home on Saturday, January 24th, 2026 with his family by his side.
Paul, born in Lawrence, MA on April 18, 1957, was the first son of Thomas and Rita (Deschenes) Kimball. He attended local public schools and worked for several years at the renowned Thompson’s Restaurant of North Andover, and also Pizza Hut Restaurant in Methuen MA.
For many years, Paul was a participant with the Creative Living organization, where he enjoyed weekend getaways, special trips and activities, and made many new friends. Most recently, Paul was involved with American Training, which offered him job training, day-to-day activities, and most importantly, a caring and loving home he could call his own.
Paul enjoyed many things: family get-togethers, watching wrestling and candlepin bowling on Saturday mornings, sorting through his treasured beat-up baseball cards, and especially playing Boggle, Battleship, or 45’s with his best friend and brother, David.
Paul always enjoyed a good laugh (followed by a resounding “OHH JEEZ!”), loved to be totally engrossed in a word search, and had a knack for being able to fall asleep no matter where he was. Most importantly, Paul will be remembered as a kind, caring, and loving gentle soul. He will be dearly missed.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas R. and Rita R. (Deschenes) Kimball; and his younger brother, David Kimball.
Paul is survived by his loving sisters; Margaret Stone and her husband, Michael of Londonderry, NH; Diane Noël and her husband, Raymond of Lawrence, MA; and Carol Belinsky and her husband, Brian of Newton, NH. He also leaves behind five nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews.
Paul’s family would like to thank the many special people who have been an instrumental part of his life over the years, especially the many caretakers and staff of the American Training organization. Thank you, we love you all.
