Paul T. Kenney's Obituary
Paul T. Kenney, 64, of Methuen, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston in the loving presence of his family.
Paul was born in Methuen on February 11, 1959. He was the son of the late Thomas and Janet (Collins) Kenney. He graduated from Methuen High School, class of 1977. In high school Paul played hockey, soccer and varsity football. He attended Salem State College. Paul was a stone mason and worked on many historic buildings in Massachusetts. He was also a union agent for Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen Union Local 3. Paul enjoyed gardening, cooking, barbecuing and making beer. He had a great sense of humor and always had a joke.
Paul will be deeply missed by his 3 siblings, Peter Kenney and his wife, Suzanne of Ashland, MA, Ellen Kenney of Lawrence, and Jean Rodriguez and her husband, Andres of Sahuarita, AZ; 5 nieces and nephews, Leigh Kenney of Belmont, Gail Miller of Wellesley, Thomas Kenney of Somerville, Andres Rodriguez of Los Angeles, CA, and Sarah Castrillon of Chantilly, VA; and a wealth of treasured cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his daughter, Erin.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Paul’s life by gathering for his calling hours from 4 – 8 PM on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. His funeral service will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
