Patricia Marie Marsden's Obituary
Patricia Marie Marsden, 92 of Haverhill, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert E. Marsden II.
Patricia was born in Lawrence, MA on April 22, 1930 to the late William S. and Catherine V. (Kelley) Quinn. She graduated from Searles High School in Methuen. She worked as a police matron with the Methuen Police Department and then as a security officer at Merrimack College in North Andover for over 15 years until her retirement in 1993. Patricia was actively involved at St. Monica’s Parish in Methuen for many years. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge #65 in Lawrence. She also loved animals, her flower gardens, going to the mountains, and especially spending time with her beloved family. Patricia loved traveling worldwide with her family and friends.
Patricia will be deeply missed by her 5 daughters, Kathleen Flemings, Nancy Marsden, Linda Marsden, Mary Beth Marsden and her significant other, Fred DeBerardinis, and June Harnden and her husband, Phil; 2 sons, William Marsden and his significant other, Sheila Briggs, and Mark Marsden and his wife, Janet; 8 grandchildren, Shanna Bauchman, Mandy Robinson and her husband, Bill, Philip Harnden and his wife, Bryanna, Tyler Harnden and his wife, Kate, Wayne Flemings, and Lucas, Alex, and Rory Marsden; 5 great grandchildren, Quentin Bauchman, Harper and Oliver Harnden, and Liam and Zoe Robinson; and her dog, Henrietta. In addition to her husband and her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Albert E. Marsden III, 2 grandsons, Jimmy and Sean Bauchman, and her sister, Kathleen Titcomb.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Patricia’s life by gathering for her calling hours from 2 – 6 PM on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
